09/29/2019In life, one must experience this unique B&B. The hospitality, friendliness, and accommodations, I experienced, are absolutely and positively “over-the-top.” Each room has a unique design character that radiates warmth,... read more charm, and comfort. Sitting on (perhaps imported) exotic and beautiful Mexican tile was my masterfully made “tree branch bed.” Mere words cannot convey the craftsmanship of this beam-exposed vaulted ceiling home, striking and impressive furniture, and gorgeous stone fireplaces. Such detail and beauty must be viewed up-close and personal. The enchanting scenic views against the backdrop of the distant mountains are picturesque and seeing the warm glow diminish across the wide valley at sunset was mesmerizing and almost hypnotic. A peaceful hiking trail created for tranquility brought grazing does and fawns into plain sight. Our community 9 am breakfast was graciously blessed by our heavenly Christian God. The exceptional fresh and delicious breakfast seemed to keep us all talking for quite some time long after our food was gone. An incredible swimming pool and a hand-made pool table made after-hours an engaging treat to an already ideal stay. Thank you for a time I’ll always remember. -Spencer S.

07/26/2020Location:
The place is located in the mountain top with stunning, breathtaking views.
The view of sunrise in the mountains, the valley littered with farms and cattle,... read more with the sound of creek flowing nearby - this place is, by definition, picturesque. The country side felt like Robert Frost's lyrics came to life.
Approach:
We arrived well after sunset . As we approached the place, we took a few sharp turns and the last half mile of the lane was dirt and gravel. It was unnerving, but once we spotted the home (GPS coordinates and location is very precise in (Hidden by Airbnb) maps), we laid all apprehensions to rest.
Interiors:
Lot of efforts had been put to ensure the residents had a comfortable stay - we had a LOT of options to keep ourselves entertained/engaged.
Hosts:
Very warm people. Enjoyed the conversations we had. Local knowledge and Travel tips from the hosts were very helpful.Prasanna
11/03/2019We were looking for a scenic comfortable place to stay for our second anniversary trip in the Ashville area and couldn’t believe how lucky we got. Mike, met us... read more at our car when arriving and made us feel very welcomed. Our room had a comfy cabin feel that walked right out to the most amazing Mountain View. A creek at the side of the house could be heard along with the welcoming of goats and llamas in the fields across from the huge property. Kathy and Mike invited us to sit by the roaring fire while discussing our plans for the next day and sites to go see. The next morning, a scrumptious breakfast was served while viewing the fog lifting off the mountains. The night before our departure we had “Creekside Radio and Fire TV”... fire pit conversations and a plan to return soon. We couldn’t ask for a more enjoyable stay. It wasn’t just a place to sleep but a home of hospitality and making of new friends.
